From Tariffs to Family Time

Last month, I had the opportunity to attend one of my favorite—and in my opinion, the best—real estate conferences, SidexSide. This event is all about collaboration, bringing together boutique real estate brands, founders, and agents. This was my fourth SidexSide conference, held this year in beautiful Palm Springs.

Last year, the entire JLUX Team attended, but with the conference falling right in the middle of DFW’s Spring Break, this year looked a little different—I brought my whole family along! What made it truly special was having my daughters (pictured left, pointing out the JLUX Logo) watch me in action, seeing firsthand how entrepreneurs build and take pride in their businesses.

This month, I’m sharing a clip from one of my favorite conference sessions: an insightful economic update from renowned economist Rick Sharga. He’s not only one of the most frequently quoted experts on real estate, mortgage, and foreclosure trends but also, in my opinion, a bit of a comedian! In this clip, he breaks down how tariffs could impact the housing market.
