Shocking Home Buyer Stats - Just Released

Here’s a newly released stat that stopped us in our tracks: The average first-time home buyer today is 38 years old! This median age is the highest recorded since the 1980s when first-time buyers were typically (and have been) in their late 20s.

According to the newly released NAR 2024 Profile of Home Buyers & Sellers, first-time home buyers now make up ONLY 24% of all buyers—again, an all-time low.
